Mid therm degree project directed by the architectural design chair "Red 3", ex "Varas", Faculty of architecture, Design and Urbanism, from the University of Buenos Aires

The building it’s situated on a slope, on the corner of Dr. Ricardo Rojas and San Martin st. in front of San Martín Square and the iconic "Kavanagh" Residential Building, in the Retiro district of Buenos Aires, Argentina

Observe, learn, cook, breath. The building is organized by its central circulation, arranged around the 5th floor height. Its structure serves as support of each floor, as well as facade design containing the boxes and generating small recreation areas to capture the different views of the city.

Sustainability is what I was aiming when I first design this project, green inside the building, multiple terraced balconies all the way round, ventilation system from both sides for a better indoor air quality, solar pannels on the roof. Continuity of recreation spaces from the surrounding squares in order to integrate it to vits natural environment.

The mechanical room is on the ground floor. The different types of facilities, whether air conditioning sistems, electricity, or plumbing, will run through the building hidden within the suspended ceilings on each floor.
