Located in one of the busiest aviation airports in Los Angeles, CA. Mavericks Van Nuys Sushi Bar & Restaurant is a continuation of one of the actual restaurants, creating a modern comfortable space for private flights crew members.

The design concept is inspired by an airport hangar, a place where aircraft are stored and maintained. The bar aims to provide a relaxing and comfortable space for the crew members who work on private flights, where they can enjoy a break and watch the runways.

The aesthetics are minimalist and elegant, reflecting a sense of discreet luxury and professionalism. The main materials used are concrete, steel, wood, glass, and marble,creating a contrast between the brutal and the refined.

The ceiling exposes the structure and pipes, adding an industrial touch. The window facade on the left side offers a panoramic view of the airport, allowing the crew to observe the take-offs and landings. The design concept captures the essence of the airport hangar, while also creating a cozy and sophisticated atmosphere for the crew.
